Candles are hand poured into white jars printed with a vintage map of West Didsbury - just like our M20 Gins. They make a beautiful statement and are stunning when lit, creating a warm amber glow highlighting the design from the inside of the jar.
When you have finished burning the candle, the empty jar makes a pretty keepsake to plant seeds, store make-up brushes or pop in a tea light or votive.
I have chosen to use a vegan friendly Rapeseed and Coconut wax which is known for its sustainable properties.
Approx 220g wax in a 30cl vessel.

CANDLE BURNING TIPS
When you light your candle for the first time, first trim the wick to about 5mm, and allow the wax to melt to the sides of the tin or jar to ensure a consistent burn. Wax has memory and this will help to avoid "tunnelling".
The maximum recommended burn time is 4 hours for both our candle jars and tins. When cooled, trim the wick again to about 5mm. Trimming the wick each time will allow you to get the most out of your candle and help prevent tunnelling or burning too quickly.
NATURAL WAX TIPS
Please note that when your candles cools you will notice the surface is a little bumpy. This is normal with natural wax candles and there is nothing wrong.
